Jenna Wesseln, Partner & Associate Wedding Consultant
Plan. Coordinate. Execute. Repeat. This is the daily life of Jenna Wesseln, with a few additional activities thrown in between. Jenna thrives off of a busy, fast-paced, and energetic work atmosphere, making the event industry a perfect fit for her!
Jenna graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. During her years at LMU, she was the Director of Special Events for her sorority, worked for a Los Angeles based event planning company, and served as a volunteer for many non-profit organizations. After college, she joined the Engaged team and dove even deeper into her industry training by receiving her Wedding Coordinating Certification from Cal Poly Pomona and becoming a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Jenna is actively involved with her alma mater as an Ambassador in the OC LMU Alumni Association and also an active member in the Newport-South Coast Delta Gamma Alumni Group. You may also see her instructing at a few Pure Barre studios in OC.
As a Partner of the business and an Associate Coordinator, Jenna focuses her time, energy, and determination to her couples, consistently working to make their wedding vision a reality. She is proud of her community ties and vendor relationships and works to maintain those relationships for the benefit of her clients. Jenna not only lives up to planning expectations, but surpasses them by catering to each couples individual needs and making their planning journey a personal experience. Jenna is a valuable member of the Engaged team and receives numerous compliments and glowing reviews from her satisfied couples season after season.
Jen Alvarez, Associate Wedding Consultant
Jen graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a BA in Apparel Merchandising and Management. During her college tenure she not only creatively designed apparel, but she also added her creative touch to multiple charity and social events sponsored by the college. Always looking for an opportunity to put her creativity and sense of style to work, she began working as a freelance Event Coordinator and enjoyed independently planning corporate and social events while finishing her degree. During college Jen also begin working at Heroes Restaurant. Acting still as a Heroes Manager/Event Coordinator, Jen coordinates rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, business mixers, and corporate functions for the busy venue.
In 2009, Jen's passion for event planning landed her a job with Fiore, an event and wedding planning company based in Claremont, CA. While at Fiore, Jen found her calling as a Wedding Coordinator. From her first wedding she knew that she wanted to make a career out of creating and executing memorable celebrations for her clients. She fell in love with being able to personalize each wedding to capture the vastly different visions of each couple.
Jen joined the Engaged team as an assistant in 2012 and due to her years of experience, quickly worked her way up within the company. Showing leadership, creativity, and drive, Jen was promoted to an Associate Coordinator in 2014. Jen’s collaborative approach, attention to detail, creativity, willingness to accept a challenge and love for the event industry are just a few of the many reasons why she is a strong event planner. She is honored to have the opportunity to make each event she coordinates special and unforgettable for her couples.
In her spare time, Jen loves spending time with her husband Ryan and their son Riggins. You can find her at a football game, a concert, or at the river with family and friends.
